TL;DR the order of USB connections is important
- Firstly, get https://www.aminimiga.com/ on to a USB stick.
- You'll need a (Linux) compatible USB-to-ethernet stick, see the list at https://www.retro32.com/a500-mini/311020236537-which-usb-network-adapter-for-the-amiga-mini-pandory500-ags-aminmiga-faq
I had some junky looking random stick laying around that shows up as usingpegasusunder Linux - You'll need a generic USB keyboard and mouse.
I had a wireless Logitech K400 Plus to hand - You may our may not need a USB hub, depending on if you want to faff connecting and disconnecting.
Then connect as follows. Assuming the A500 keyboard is facing you:
- gamepad (because the keyboard wont work on a fresh reboot to start Aminimiga
- change to keyboard/mouse once Aminimiga is booted
- USB hub (or USB stick)
- USB stick
- Keyboard/mouse
- USB-to-ethernet
- HDMI
- power
Boot the A1500 mini
Start Aminimiga from the menu using the game pad (never adjust it's options via menu)
From work: open the Internet drawer, and then IBrowse and run it
Profit...
