This may be a long shot but I'm from a large Glenny family orginally from New Zealand. My father, Russell, his father Brian. My grandfather has now passed. Hope this helps!

trying to find the father of my grandfather
my grandfather was a glenny, lynn wallace john glenny, born 6 Feb about 1928 and died oct 1990
apparently his father was half/irish half scottish and trying to find what his fathers name was.

Hi All,
I am hoping to get round to doing more Family tree research over this winter period so keep the comments coming in.
I also have scanned a lot of Birth/death/wedding and even an army discharge paper for this side of the family. These are up http://www.rachaelandtom.info/node/1423 there may be something someone else can use.

My last name is also Glenny
My last name is also Glenny .... my grandfather was born and raised in Independance, Iowa ... moved to Lewiston, Idaho where he worked for the Camus Prairie Railroad. He married Nellie Stearns. They had six children, the eldest being my father, who are all deceased now.
There must be a "tie" back further.
