Bizarre Gallery plugin update error

If during the upgrade of the Gallery2 module for Drupal you see an error like this:

all_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: 
First argument is expected to be a valid callback,
'gallery_admin_settings' was given in /home/drupal/includes/form.inc
