Holiday's Are Here

Rar - no more work till Jan 5th ! Unfortunetly Rachael has to - plus there are all the cards I still have to send.
On the plus side this is the first entry written totaly via my P900 phone :-)

Out-geeked ?

You wouldn't think anyone would try and out geek me when I sent an email saying:
thisChocolate:=tFood.create(tFoodTypeChoc,tCadbury,tSpare);
thisBox:=tBox.Create();
thisBox.contains(thisChocolate);
thisBox.location:=tTableByDownStairsKittchen;

but someone had a go:
thisBox:=tBox.Create();
thischocolate := TChocolates.create;
for n := 1 to 1200
begin
thischocvariety:=TChocolate.create(random(variety));
thischocolates.add(thischocvariety);
end
thisBox.contains(thisChocolate);
thisBox.location:=tTableByDownStairsKittchen;

Need... food... lost... track of... time

I'm not doing this 'get in at 8, leave at 4' nonsense again - starving already !

Wibbling of new report and database went OK this morning, just left with a pile of stuff to check in on a CVS branch.
Which you might not be able to do on the app server, so I'll have to check it out here and commit, then update the app server again - argh !

Because it's cold, and it's Christmas

In case you don't know (or remember) there are not enough car parking spaces by our office, so I often have to park a short distance away up the hill.
Today, it's far too cold to do that at 1800 when I knock off, so I've waited till lunchtime when a few cars have gone off, and moved my car into one of the spaces.

'Cause I'm evil like that.

:warms up slowly after being outside.

I hate planning things

Because it then looks so easy and simple on the bit of paper, and then you go to write it, and get all boged down in the language.

Bah.

I hate PL/SQL almost as much as Oracle.
